81cents recognizes that negotiating alone is not enough to close the gender pay gap. In fact, in many cases women do negotiate only to find themselves still earning less than their male counterparts.

Operation 90 aims to close the gap by exploring methods outside of salary negotiation coaching, including trainings, advocacy, and workplace partnerships around salary transparency.

Furthermore, we also acknowledge that the ability to hire a salary negotiation coach (albeit a more affordable one) is a luxury in and of itself. As such, we’re committed to providing training and support for women who may not be able to afford our services.
